Breaking Changes

• As of the last release for the year 2022, we will no longer support the 32-bit version of Excel Add-in for Windows 32 bits. The Nectari Excel Add-in - WIN32.exe installation package will not be available. You will need Windows 64 bits in order to install Excel Add-in for MS-Office 32-bit or 64-bit version (Excel Add-in - WIN64.exe).
• Oracle users must now be created before installing Nectari.
• As of October 10, 2023, Windows Server 2012 R2 will no longer be supported by Microsoft nor by SEI.

Improvements

Installation

• New scripts are available to create Oracle and SQL users. Oracle users must now be created before installing SEI. The installation steps of the SEI License Server and Central Point have been updated to include these users by default. 14422
• Installation log files are consolidated and saved in the same location defined as installation path at the beginning of the basic or advanced server installation. 11991
• Ports are validated during the installation to make sure they are not already used by other hosts. 13096
• SEI installation packages are now automatically run as an Administrator. You no longer need to right-click the .exe file and select this option. However, your Windows user must have Administrator rights. 14339

Web Client

• The new Edit Advanced Filter data model role has been added to views. 14419
• Wildcards can now be used to filter values in Reporting Trees. 15116
• For worksheets and reports, a new option to enable or disable the outline has been added to the Excel Export tab. 13273
• Improvements to the Web Workbook (Preview):
  • Several currencies have been added to the workbook. 13075

OLAP Manager

• When creating a cube, the table name is now verified to avoid duplicate names. 13339

Distribution

• The Scheduler now allows you to use the Run As option without having to add any users or groups to send emails using external addresses. 4430
• The Scheduler history has been improved to display more log details on failures. 13256

Excel Add-in

• Wildcards can now be used to filter values in reporting trees, pivots, data extractions, and formulas. 15417
• The new Refresh Style drop-down has been added to data extractions. 14068

DataSync

Web Client Templates

Sage Intacct	- The Web Workbook (Preview) now includes Income Statement and Balance Sheet templates. - New tables have been added to DataSync extractions, including Gcbook and Uomdetail. - The global consolidation module has been optimized for better performance and user experience. - Global variables have been added to the Consolidation module to:   • Enable users to dynamically change which consolidation books are available;   • Add information to measures for better clarity (consolidation currency, book ID). - Refresh jobs can now be scheduled for Opening Balance and Exchange Rates using the OLAP Manager. - Dashboards have been added to the Finance (Income Statement), AP, AR, Order Entry, and Inventory modules. - The documentation has been updated with procedures to configure the Finance module, a new section on Book Exchange Rates, and a new step to configure report codes.
Sage X3	- The Web Workbook (Preview) now includes Income Statement and Balance Sheet templates. - The Invoice Analysis with Kit Margin Calculation data model has been added to the Sales templates. - A stored procedure (HISTODUDOPEN_CALC) has been added to the AP/AR Historical Aging data model.
Sage 300	- The Web Workbook (Preview) now includes Income Statement and Balance Sheet templates. - Calendar month and year dimensions have been added to the template.
UDM	- The Sage Intacct Consolidation module now supported in the UDM.

Fixes

Web Client

• Sorting a view that contained a Pivot with Advanced Options was sometimes not applied. 15101
• Subtotal Restrictions were sometimes not applied when exporting the view to an Excel file. 15045
• Improvements were made to add more security to the cookies used in the Web application. 14084
• These defects have been fixed in the Web Workbook (Preview):
  • The formula wizard would sometimes fail when a formula was set to create a dynamic list and was filtering on a number in an Oracle environment. 11806
  • The formula wizard would sometimes return an error if the formula was using a table whose name contained a space. 14184
• After adding multiple dockable filters to a dashboard and saving it, only the first filter was saved. 15174
• The Reporting Tree Node comment was sometimes not saved. 14789
• The look and feel of external links has been fixed so as to be consistent with the Web Client. 13453

OLAP Manager

• After saving a new job, the time displayed in the Next Run Date column was in UTC instead of the local time zone. After the initial job run, the time would be displayed correctly. 15382

Distribution

• When a job included several Excel Add-in views to be distributed, the job would sometimes fail. 13415

Excel Add-in

• When a dimension name contained a single quote or a range with one or two asterisks (*), the formula wizard could not return the correct value. 15117
• Using a prompt or a quick prompt would return an error when the Data Model had field names using SQL Reserved Keywords. 11738
• Distributing a spreadsheet that contained a pivot created using SEI and a pivot created in Excel would cause an error. 13200

Web Client Templates
